Travel video: New Brunswick road trip

Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews By-The-Sea

This summer my family took a road trip to New Brunswick for a little vacation, visiting with my father, and exploring the province for a few days. It was such a great trip, driving over 3,000 km from Toronto to Saint John, and back again that I had to make a video.

On the way we stopped in Hartland, then on to Saint John for a few days before St. Andrews By-The-Sea, Quebec City, and finally Upper Canada Village on the way back. The whole trip took a week, but I wish we could have gone for longer since there was so much more I had wanted to see (Fundy National Park, Hopewell Cape, Kouchibouguac National Park, Kings Landing).

We had an incredible trip though. The weather was perfect, and I drove the 2019 Ford Expedition Max, which had amazing mileage. I’ve driven the Expedition before, and I love the features, but it’s also such a comfortable drive. I’m always amazed what an easy SUV it is to drive, considering it’s a fairly large vehicle.

If you’re curious, I filmed as much of the trip as I could with my Huawei P30 Pro, and put together a whole travel video that covers the drive, plus aerial footage I shot with my DJI Mavic Air of Saint John, the Irving Nature Park, and St. Andrews By-The-Sea, including over the gorgeous Algonquin Resort.

I have more footage from the trip that I’ll be sharing in a few more videos, and other stories about the trip coming up shortly.

Let me know what you think of the video and the trip! I’d love to hear what some of your favourite highlights were from the video, or what you’re looking forward to checking out in New Brunswick. The province is beautiful, and there’s a lot to see and do, especially along the coast.
