For the first time, Canadians have our very own Bachelor arriving on television this week as The Bachelor Canada debuts on Citytv, bringing the popular long-running series north of the border. The series promises to be a fun ride for viewers as former CFL football player Brad Smith searches for love on dates that will take him across Canada and around the world.
Last week, ahead of the show debut and after a special media screening of the first episode, I sat down with Smith to talk about what it’s like being so open and revealing on national television, and what advice he would give to any future Bachelors or Bachelorettes.
The Bachelor Canada premieres Wednesday, October 3 at 9:00 PM (ET/PT) on Citytv. After the premier, show will move to its regular timeslot every Wednesday at 9:30 PM (ET/PT), beginning October 10.
