A-List Descending on Toronto for 30th Fest

Last year was a big year for the Toronto International Film Festival as over 400 celebrity guests arrived for the parties, red carpets and festivities of North America’s most important film festival. However, that’s looking pretty pale compared to this year as an estimated 500 celebrities are confirmed for the 30th Festival of Festivals.

Among the celebrities scheduled to hit Toronto between September 8 and 17 are a variety of filmmakers, actors, industry insiders, and special guests, representing “the finest in filmmaking talent from around the world,” including Heath Ledger, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, and Tim Burton.

Here now is a partial list of attendees, broken down into a few categories for your amusement. Sadly, actors have been known to cancel in the past, but you can certainly bet on a huge number of these stars to be on hand in just two weeks time.
