Hasselblad X1D Field Kit | $22,199
Hasselblad X1D-50c
If you have a serious photographer in your life, the Hasselblad X1D Field Kit is a dream gift. Featuring the award-winning Hasselblad X1D-50c medium format camera, this ultimate kit includes three lenses–30mm, 45mm, and 90mm–two batteries, a shoulder and wrist strap, and a rugged Pelican case to take it on the ultimate photographic adventures for the perfect, crystal clear images.

The compact camera design makes the Hasselblad X1D-50c a perfect companion for photographers who need to hit the road, and don’t have room to carry bulky gear, and the industry-leading camera sensor delivers some of the sharpest images possible today thanks to the 50MP CMOS large sensor. In addition to numerous other features, the X1D-50c can capture images at shutter speeds ranging from 1/2000th to 60 minutes.

To get an idea of the quality of the images, take a look at photographer Ming Thein’s work in Iceland, shot earlier this year.

Samsung Frame | $2,699 to $3,799
Samung's The Frame
The Frame by Samsung is what happens when art meets technology. Combining a 4K television experience with an Art Mode that allows you to display art like it’s actually hanging on your wall, The Frame makes it easy to appreciate art, or your favorite TV shows, all in one device. Samsung has also curated 100 pieces of art exclusively for The Frame, and users can add their own photos or artwork, or download more art from the Art Store.

Like the name suggests, The Frame also has a customizable frame so you can change it to match your space, and when it’s used as a television, the television offers beautiful, more dynamic contrast with HDR that makes scenes come alive.

The Frame barely even looks like a television, especially in Art Mode, and that’s certainly the beauty of it: a television that blends into your living room and doesn’t take it over. It is a beautifully elegant device for any wall.

Hamilton Broadway Auto Chrono | $2495
Hamilton Broadway Auto Chrono
Hamilton makes striking, classic watches, and beyond my favorite Ventura that celebrated 60 years this year, their Hamilton Broadway line is exceptionally smart, complimenting modern street style in eye-catching burgundy and Herringbone patterns.

The Hamilton Broadway Auto Chrono has a 60 hour power reserve, and features a classic leather strap, an open case back, it’s water resistant to 100 metres, and it has a beautiful two-tone face. The Broadway line also features metal straps, and comes in other colours, including black and blue. There really is nothing quite like a watch to complete an outfit, and feel utterly well-dressed. The best part though? You won’t need to look at your phone to check the time.

TWG Tea – World Voyage Christmas Tea Set | $159
TWG Tea - World Voyage Christmas Tea Set
If your special someone loves tea–especially black tea–TWG Tea has a collection that is delightful and a celebration of some of the best teas of the world.

The moment that you open TWG’s World Voyage Christmas Tea Set, the rich, earthy, fragrances of the teas greets you and will make your mouth water, and that’s just the first impression. The six varities of teas are incredible, but one of my favorites has to be Red Christmas, which smells like Christmas baking. It’s spicy and delightful, and the theine free rooibos tea is truly exquisite.

The gift box also includes Pomme Prestige Tea, Singapore Breakfast Tea, French Earl Grey, Alexandria Tea, and Darjeeling Okayti Prestige.

Another option for tea lovers from TWG is their 12 Days of Christmas Tea Set which retails for $198. That collection features 12 ornament-sized mini tea tins with everything from classic teas to Milky Oolong Tea, White Night Jasmine Tea, and Darjeeling Princess Tea.

Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire 100th | $140
Grand Marnier Centenaire
Grand Marnier and Christmas go together like winter and snow. Whether you drink Grand Marnier on ice, in coffee, or in a cocktail, my family always has a bottle around for the holidays, especially for Blueberry Tea. Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire takes the already exceptional flavour of Grand Marnier and elevates them to a whole new flavour profile that is rich and luxurious.

On the nose, the aroma is similar to regular Grand Marnier, but Centenaire has a gentler lemon zest scent, with more cinnamon and clove, while on the palate it is not quite as sweet, and much more velvety and balanced. It reminded me more of gingerbread and raisins, with a really smooth finish that delivers the crisp citrus flavours. For cognac aficionados especially, Grand Marnier Centenaire is a delicious treat, especially served neat. If you’re feeling daring, you could of course try spicing up a cocktail with Centenaire, but it’s made for simple, blissful sipping.
