Giving Tuesday might be behind us, but Toronto based healthcare software company RL Solutions and SickKids Hospital have a great way to help people give back during the holidays while giving generous donors some sweet holiday treats thanks to the SickKids Milk & Cookies Truck.

From December 4 to the 23rd, the software company–whose programs are used in thousands of hospitals around the globe–will be teaming up with SickKids Hospital to sponsor the SickKids Milk and Cookies Truck, a special food truck that will be roaming the streets of Toronto spreading holiday cheer for a good cause.

For a suggested donation of $10, patrons of the food truck will receive a chocolate chip cookie from Le Gourmand and a refreshing glass of Sheldon Creek Dairy’s milk. All proceeds raised by the truck will directly benefit SickKids and their ongoing efforts to give their young patients some of the best medical treatment in the world.

A dedicated web app – available for download at SKMilkandCookies.com starting December 1 – will allow people to keep tabs on the whereabouts of the truck at any given day or time. Through the app, users will be able to pinpoint the truck’s location via GPS technology  and a live digital tracker. Users will also get an upcoming look at an upcoming schedule of events to find out where the SickKids Milk and Cookies Truck will pop up next!

In addition to indulging in one of the holiday’s season’s most comforting culinary delights, patrons of the SickKids Milk and Cookies Truck will also be doing a great thing for others in need this holiday season and throughout the year at SickKids hospital.
