Support Black community and anti-racism charities this holiday season | Charity Gift Guide
There is so much good we can do, and beyond the conversation that started this year, Canadians need to stand up and support Black communities as they push for change.
Every year I launch The GATE’s Holiday Gift Guides with a charity guide. The holidays are coming up quickly, and we all spend a lot on gift giving, but it’s also a great time to give back to our communities.
The holidays are coming up quickly, and it’s really one of the most wonderful times of the year. While the holidays are all about celebrating loved ones though, they’re also about giving, and more importantly, giving back.
Giving Tuesday might be behind us, but Toronto based healthcare software company RL Solutions and SickKids Hospital have a great way to help people give back during the holidays while giving generous donors some sweet holiday treats thanks to the SickKids Milk & Cookies Truck.
The holidays are a wonderful time of year to celebrate family, friends, and all the good things in our lives, and they’re also the perfect time to give back. We started our annual charity gift guides so we could try to inspire a range of ideas to give back, and offer a window into some of the opportunities available to give to the community. This year we’re focusing our attention on three very important initiatives: SickKids, Habitat for Humanity, and The Brain Project.
Today is Tim Hortons Camp Day, and it’s an opportunity for you to directly help kids across Canada have a life-changing camp experience.
Before the holiday season begins, we want to take a moment to talk about a great cause. It’s an annual tradition here at The GATE that before the holidays start, and before you really start shopping, we want you to think about supporting a cause that could help your community, or the world, and this year the focus is on Stand Up To Cancer.
The holidays are almost here. There’s Christmas music on the radio, stores are filled with festive goodies, and Santa Claus has even been showing up to meet with the little ones. That means it’s time to follow our holiday tradition and kick off The GATE’s Holiday Gift Guides with the all-important first edition: our charity gift guide.
