This weekend, Megan Markle and Prince Harry will walk down the aisle for their Royal wedding in London, England, and to celebrate the upcoming nuptials, St-Germain Liqueur created an elevated spin on their classic cocktail, the Royal Spritz.
The cocktail also nicely commemorates the Royal couple’s cake selection, since they chosen a lemon elderflower cake by Pastry Chef Claire Ptak for their reception, and the lemon elderflower notes found in the Royal Spritz create a perfect homage, and a classy, upscale cocktail.
St-Germain Royal Spritz cocktailRecipe:
1 Part St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
1.5 Parts Bombay Sapphire
.5 Parts Lemon Juice
1 Part Grapefruit Juice
2 Parts Sparkling Rosé
Method:
Mix in a cocktail shaker with ice, and serve in a Collins glass over ice. You can also mix right in the glass and stir with a cocktail spoon.
St-Germain is an all-natural liqueur crafted from 1,000 elderflower blossoms handpicked at the height of their beauty in the spring. The liqueur has a tropical, citrus flavour with a hint of honeysuckle sweetness.
