This winter, try something sweet, creamy and delicious with Baileys Red Velvet, a twist on your favourite spirit that’s perfect in hot chocolate, as a dessert topping, or simply on ice. You can even bake with it!
Baileys Red Velvet Hot Chocolate is the ultimate winter recipe, if you ask me. Baileys is always good in hot chocolate, but the limited edition Baileys Red Velvet makes it taste just like a cupcake. It’s sweet, chocolatey, and rich, with the perfect flavour for mixing.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz. Baileys Red Velvet
- 8 oz. milk
- ½ cup dark chocolate
- Whipped cream
- White chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Melt Dark chocolate and milk in a sauce pan.
- Transfer into a mug and ad Baileys Red Velvet Liquor.
- Garnish with whipped cream and white chocolate shavings.
Notes
You can always substitute white chocolate shavings with milk or even dark chocolate, and add mini marshmallows to the top for a little extra treat. For a simpler recipe, simply heat a mug filled with 8 oz. of milk in the microwave for 1-1.5 minutes (time will vary depending on your microwave), and add hot chocolate mix, stir, and then add the Baileys to the cup before garnishing.

Sounds so good!
Wow! I didn’t know you can combine one of my favorite desserts and make a great holiday drink! This is a great recipe, can’t wait to try it!
im not usually much of a drinker but that one looks tempting and actually looks like its tasty. like a warm feeling in your tummy in the winter cold . its so calming and warming and soothing. mmmmm i want to try one of those. the past month of holiday preparation has taken a tool on my soul this year. im sure we can all agree to some degree that 2020 has been a stressful strange and difficult year for all of us in different ways. we could all use a drink to warm our insides. the stress of the times is real. we need a taste sensation. this looks so inviting…
