Canadian dramas have come a long way in the last ten years, and a great example of the spirit of the new era in Canadian television is Muse Entertainment’s Bomb Girls, which kicks off its second season on Global this coming Wednesday, January 2 at 8:00 PM (ET/PT).

Montreal’s Muse Entertainment announced last week that two of their productions have been renewed for new seasons, with Global Television ordering a 12-episode second season of Bomb Girls, while Syfy in the U.S. has ordered a third season of the North American adaptation of Britain’s Being Human.
Oscar-nominated actress Meg Tilly is one of the most open and honest people I have ever had the good fortune of interviewing, and she makes absolutely no qualms about the fact that she took a break from films and television. What Tilly does make a big deal about though is the show that brought her back to TV–Shaw Media’s original new mini-series Bomb Girls, which debuts tonight on Global Television at 8:00 PM (ET/PT).
