Another electrifying, articulate, and entertaining effort from director David Fincher, Mank is both a cracking biopic about famed screenwriter Herman Mankiewicz and something far more personal for the filmmaker.

This week’s new arrivals on DVD and Blu-ray include David Fincher’s The Social Network, an offline drama about the makings of an online giant; the horror-comedy Piranha, starring Elisabeth Shue, Jerry O’Connell, and Adam Scott; and the animated comedy Alpha And Omega.
Opening this week: Jesse Eisenberg stars in The Social Network, the story of the making of Facebook; and the horror-drama Let Me In stars Chloe Moretz as a twelve-year-old vampire making friends with her new next-door neighbour.
Compared to Fefe Dobson or Brandon Flowers, this week’s video is a bit more serious than usual (there’s even swearing in the song!), but it was simply a must for me. When I was thinking about featuring artists, Nine Inch Nails was a must, I just had to figure out a song, so I went with one of my favorites from 2005: Nine Inch Nails’ “Only”.
Coming to home video this week, Brad Pitt goes through the aging process for the epic drama, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. Also out now, Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson star in the drama Last Chance Harvey; Michelle Williams and Ewan McGregor try to survive London’s terrible future in Incendiary; and in the Hindi film Chandni Chowk to China, a lowly cook has to become a kung fu hero.
