Aram Rappaport grew up in the hills of Los Angeles. His father was a screenwriter. Talking to him you get the impression that he could care less about celebrity or fame. He didn’t grow up in that LA. He grew up in a world of artists who made movies because they loved it.
Max Barry
“Best. Ever.” is a weekly conglomeration of things that made my week. And there was much rejoicing. This week, Ghost Rider 2 will be moody, the Oscar hosts have been announced, two of my new favorite games, Google’s Dashboard, and Max Barry’s Machine Man goes to Hollywood.
A couple of interesting things came to my attention today, and they all revolve around writer Max Barry.
Barry is of course the amazing author who wrote one of my favorite books, Jennifer Government, a satirical story about a dystopian-type alternate reality where corporations have become their own nations within the world’s weak political climate.
