Samsung showed off the power of their 65″ Neo QLED 8K TVs this week with a racing simulator like no other, and you can get behind the wheel in Toronto.

The one-of-a-kind racing simulator features three 65″ 8K screens paired with a racing wheel and driver’s seat that moves with the experience. Thanks to the powerful TVs, the unique simulator has 4x the resolution of a standard simulator, and it looks and acts like you’re actually racing across the track.

The unique system was developed with digital motorsport retailer Advanced SimRacing, and I had a preview with Canadian professional race car driver Daniel Morad, who showed me the best tips, and how he zooms around the course.

“This is the actual car I drive in real life,” Morad said, “and on the weekend I’m actually going to this track in Belgium.”

Some of his top tips on the simulator included scanning the road, utilizing all of the pixels to get the best sense of where to steer, especially since you can get up over 200 mp/h.

Starting today and for a limited time the Samsung Neo QLED 8K Racing Simulator will be available at the Samsung Experience Store at CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

In other Samsung TV news, I’m also incredibly excited about the launch of the Samsung Gaming Hub on June 30th since it’s going to feature Xbox Game Pass. That means you’ll be able to play Xbox games right from the latest Samsung TVs without a console. It’s a great time to be a gamer.
