DJI revealed the Power 1000 Mini today, a smaller, lighter portable power station aimed at campers, road‑trippers, and creators who need reliable, fast charging on the go.

Touted as the “most portable 1kWh power station with higher efficiency and longer runtime” it weighs 11.5 kg, and measures 314 x 212 x 216 mm, with two AC outlets, two USB‑A ports, and an SDC port.

Top Features: 1,008Wh capacity that’s half the size of the DJI Power 1000; 100 W retractable USB‑C and 400 W car charger cables built in; 80% recharge in 58 minutes in Fast Recharge Mode; and in black-out conditions, the UPS switchover powers connected devices in just 0.01 seconds.

Pricing: The DJI Power 1000 Mini retails for $467 USD through DJI, $649 CAD on Amazon Canada, and it’s available in special combos, including a fast drone charging combo, or a foldable solar panel combo, and a car charging combo. Accessories are also sold separately.

For a limited time use these discount codes for a special deal: get $40 USD off the standalone or combo units on the DJI store with code: DJIPOWERCA02; or get $10 CAD off the standalone Power 1000 Mini on Amazon.ca with code: DJIPOWER6.

The Power 1000 Mini is focused on convenience and speed, including a retractable 100 W USB‑C cable and a built‑in 400 W car charger, plus an MPPT module for direct solar input. In Fast Recharge Mode, and when plugged into a household out, DJI notes that the battery can reach 80% charge in 58 minutes and 100% in 75 minutes.

The car charger can fully recharge the unit in about 160 minutes with DJI’s car charging cable, and in an emergency, the built‑in USB‑C cable can also recharge the power station.

DJI estimates that the Power 1000 Mini will charge a mobile phone 54 times, a digital camera 53 times, charge a laptop 9 times, power a monitor for 5 hours, charge a drone 8 times, run a coffee machine for 55 minutes, or an electric fan for 7 hours.

When connected to household power, the Power 1000 Mini defaults to UPS mode for connected devices and will switch to battery power within 0.01 seconds during an outage.

The power station retains 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles, which DJI suggests would support “up to 10 years of theoretical use with daily charging.” The unit includes 10 temperature sensors for monitoring, flame‑retardant materials, and a new potting process to protect the inverter against rain, condensation, and salt spray. DJI also notes the power station has been tested to operate normally up to 5,000 m altitude.

For solar power recharging, the Power 1000 Mini supports direct solar input via DJI’s MC4 solar cable and works with DJI foldable solar panels for pass‑through charging, which is available as a combo. It also supports fast SDC charging for select DJI drone batteries, with an available charging cable; and DJI noted that an Air 3 Series battery can be charged from 10% to 95% in about 30 minutes when using the appropriate fast‑charge cable.
