Lacking the manic gusto that made its highly lucrative predecessor such a success, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will appeal only to ABBA devotees who want more of the same thing they got last time with somewhat diminished results.

Legendary singer and gay icon, Cher, will be releasing her first album in 12 years. She will appear on the season finale of NBC’s The Voice on June 18 to perform “Woman’s World” the first single off the new record. This will be her first live television appearance in over a decade.
This week’s new releases include: the musical Burlesque, starring Christina Aguilera; James Franco’s drama, 127 Hours; the farcical dramatic comedy, Love and Other Drugs; plus a look at Faster, and Bambi.
