Return of Xander Cage isn’t a great film, but it’s one that has learned good lessons from past mistakes. More Mission: Impossible and less James Bond 2.0, this third entry in the series has boundless energy, some nifty moments of invention, and an international minded cast that oozes charisma by the truckload.

The latest films arriving on DVD and Blu-ray today include: I Am Number Four, starring Alex Pettyfer as a super-powered teenage alien on the run from galactic enemies; and the animated comedy, Gnomeo & Juliet, featuring the voices of James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, and Michael Caine.
Opening this weekend in theatres: Liam Neeson and Diane Kruger star in the action-thriller, Unknown; I Am Number Four stars Alex Pettyfer as a super-powered teenager on the run; plus a look at Small Town Murder Songs, and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.
Out on DVD this week, Jean-Claude Van Damme plays an introspective version of himself in JCVD; The Uninvited takes another stab at recreating the success of another Asian horror film; Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway star in the comedy Bride Wars; and Taking Lives, starring Angelina Jolie, debuts on Blu-ray.
