Whether you watch for the stars, the music, or the shenanigans, the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards brought all three together on Sunday night as Psy co-hosted the event and performed his hits “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” to the packed crowd at the corner of Queen and John.

The Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan was packed with music lovers tonight as the 2013 Juno Awards telecast brought some of Canada’s best and brightest stars out to perform, and to pick up their hardware.
It’s Canada’s night for music, and I’m live from Toronto as the 2013 Juno Awards are about to take over CTV from the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan, with singer Michael Bublé hosting the big night of awards and performances.
The fans were screaming for each and every star Sunday, June 17, as the MuchMusic Video Awards welcomed LMFAO, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson, Marianas Trench, Justin Bieber, and lots of other celebrities to the MuchMusic HQ at the corner of Queen and John.
Queen Street West in Toronto was loud and crowded last night thanks to the thousands of fans who showed up at MuchMusic’s headquarters for the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards, where pop stars LMFAO co-hosted the big night.
Marianas Trench showed up all the other acts at the MuchMusic Video Awards red carpet with another memorable arrival that had them “riding” in on their trusty steeds.
CHUM FM welcomed a big group of lucky contest winners on Friday, March 23, for the annual CHUM FanFest concert at the Masonic Temple in Toronto. On stage this year for FanFest 2012 were Train, Hedley, Carly Rae Jepsen, The New Cities, Victoria Duffield, Marianas Trench, Kristina Maria, and FeFe Dobson, who filled in for Melanie Fiona, who couldn’t make it to the event.
Through an unfortunate series of events, this will be the first time in years that I’ll be missing most of Canadian Music Week this year, but I am glad to be going to at least one event tonight. The good people at CHUM FM have invited media to their annual FanFest concert at the Masonic Temple, and they’ve brought in a few notable artists, including Train, Hedley, Carly Rae Jepsen, The New Cities, Victoria Duffield, Marianas Trench, and Kristina Maria.
In just a few hours, downtown Toronto will once again host one of the year’s biggest music parties: the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards.
There must have been a lot of hoarse fans in Toronto following the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards, which drew dozens of the world’s biggest pop stars to the corner of Queen and John on Sunday, June 21.
