A fun blast of laser precise nostalgia, self-aware parody, and comedic ingenuity, The Muppets Mayhem rocks all night and part of every day.
The Muppets
Disney World’s Haunted Mansion meets The Muppets in one of the best, and most entertaining Muppet experiences in years.
After thirty years the Muppets remain a force in popular culture–not just as entertainment for kids, but these latter big screen offerings seem to be aimed at an audience that is divided equally amongst kids and the adults who have grown up with the Muppets all these decades.
OK Go have made some kick-ass music videos, but as a fan of the Muppets I think I can safely say this is one of the greatest music videos of all time.
The trailer for the film may be called Green With Envy over on YouTube, where they’ve even set up an account for the film, but as we suggested last week, this is definitely not just an average romantic comedy starring Amy Adams and Jason Segel–it’s actually the trailer for The Muppets.
The first official teaser poster for the upcoming movie, The Muppets, which opens November 23, 2011. Catch the trailer ahead of Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides this weekend.
There are a lot of things that I can’t say about tonight’s screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which I just got back from a little while ago. Were I to divulge such information, I’m sure Disney would happily send out some Disney Imagineers to come up with creative ways of silencing smug writers.
Kanye West may be a mega star, but he’s also one of the most laughable superstars the world has seen since Milli Vanilli. Read just one of his tweets and it’s hard to decide whether you should laugh, or just give up all hope for humanity. This week’s funniest Kanye moment though isn’t courtesy of yet another of Kanye’s delirious tweets, it’s a mashup of his musical brilliance and who else? The Muppets.
Maybe the most awesome thing I’ve seen this… year? I don’t know, it’s pretty freakin’ ridiculously great though. As a huge Queen fan I’m surprised I’m okay with this since I’ve hated quite a few covers over the years, but this is The Muppets we’re talking about. Can they really do any wrong?
