Cuban-born Izael Nzas released his new, progressive and stylish music video for “Silence,” and the bilingual singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer has forged a unique style that borders between Latin, Hip Hop, R&B, reggae, and blues.
“Music is my favourite genre,” he said.
His musical journey started in 2017 when he was finishing school, and going through a very tough time in his life.
“I was going through a really difficult time, homeless, my mother was dying from cancer… and music was the only thing that got me out a bit from that dark period,” Nzas said.
At one point in his life, while he was sick back home in Cuba, he wrote 30 songs. “Even in my situation I managed to stay focused and let time pass, that eventually things were going to fall into place,” he said. “I didn’t stop, and now I’m here to share my story with the world.”
