Jaime Murray brings a level of charm, class, and intelligence to all of her roles, but in the case of Stahma Tarr, in Showcase’s Defiance, she turns intelligence into pure and almost frightening cunning.
Welcome to Earth’s new wild frontier in Showcase and SyFy’s new series, Defiance, the futuristic, but very “wild west” drama set in 2046 as mankind faces life on a planet that seems barely recognizable.
SyFy’s new series Defiance debuts on television next April, but it’s starting to feel much closer after I had a chance to do a set visit earlier this week, which revealed a lot about the series, and what we can expect to see when it brings aliens to our vastly different planet in the not-too-distant future.
The SyFy Digital Press Tour turned out to be a fantastic event today. It was one of the most in-depth on-set adventures I’ve had in my career, and I have to admit that I was almost shocked by the access that we had both on the set of Defiance, SyFy’s newest show coming next spring, and Warehouse 13.
For the first time I’m attending the SyFy Digital Press Tour as it lands in Toronto, and based on the dinner alone tonight at C5 restaurant inside the Royal Ontario Museum, it’s a fantastic event for folks like me who love genre television.
