By W. Andrew Powell • Jan 21st, 2010 • Category: Television

Alright, Lost fans, another interesting video leading into the sixth and final season. Producer Damon Lindelof tweeted the link to this video today, and it’s well worth a watch.

Michael Emerson at the Golden Globes

By W. Andrew Powell • Jan 17th, 2010 • Category: Television

Had to pass one photo on, for now, to the Lost fans. Michael Emerson, who of course plays Ben Linus in the show, was in attendence for his nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a television series. He posed on the carpet with actress Carrie Preston.

Ricky Gervais at the 2010 Golden Globes

By W. Andrew Powell • Jan 17th, 2010 • Category: Movies & DVDs, Television

The night is almost over for this year’s Golden Globes, and I have to give praise where praise is due: Ricky Gervais has been an awesome host. Sure, he’s been drinking on-stage, but he’s been on the ball with the jokes.

Obama better not postpone the ‘Lost’ premier

By W. Andrew Powell • Jan 7th, 2010 • Category: Television

I have another potentially sad update for the Lost fans out there. Try not to get too upset just yet, but apparently President Barack Obama is planning another State of the Union address and one of the potential dates is… Thursday, February 2.

‘Lost’ in 8:15 – The first five seasons

By W. Andrew Powell • Jan 5th, 2010 • Category: Television

We’re exactly 30 days away from the first episode of Lost’s last season, and I am dying here. All the Lost fans I know are dying. It’s rough, people, but we’re almost there.

Season 6 of ‘Lost’ is just around the corner

By W. Andrew Powell • Dec 23rd, 2009 • Category: Television

I couldn’t help but pass this along; the latest promo from ABC for the next (and final) season of Lost, which debuts on February 2, 2010. There are few shows I’ve been this obsessed with, and I don’t know how I’m gonna get along without Lost, but I still can’t wait for this season to start.

Bring on the answers, people.

David, is that you?

By W. Andrew Powell • Nov 27th, 2009 • Category: Television

This has been driving me nuts. Every time I hear the most recent ad for Metro (the Canadian grocery store chain) I could have sworn it was David Duchovny doing the voiceover. I did a Google search but couldn’t find a thing to suggest it was him (and really, why would it be him?), but apparently I’m not the only one who is confused.

CTV shows ‘Lost’ a little love for 2010

By W. Andrew Powell • Nov 4th, 2009 • Category: Television

At the start of 2009 I was pretty disappointed in CTV. They were the original Canadian broadcaster for Lost, but for whatever reason they decided to dump the fifth season over to their cable station, A, our of Barrie.

‘FlashForward’ sure makes me feel ‘Lost’

By W. Andrew Powell • Sep 25th, 2009 • Category: Features, Rants, Television

This evening I watched the first episode of ABC’s new series, FlashForward, and I’m officially hooked. The concept is fresh, the cast is good, and I’m seriously loving this vibe, but I can’t shake that it’s all somehow familiar. Kind of like déjà vu on TV, but the truth is, that’s more than just a coincidence.

On the set of the Jonas Brothers’ Camp Rock 2?

By W. Andrew Powell • Sep 5th, 2009 • Category: Photography, Television

Okay, Jonas Brothers fans, I have a rare update for you. As some of you can probably guess, I don’t usually follow the band’s activities, but I stumbled onto the set for their new TV movie, Camp Rock 2, so I thought I owed you some details.
