Oscar gets a makeover for 85th Academy Awards poster

The Academy Awards have given Oscar a rare makeover this year–84 makeovers, in fact–at least when it comes to a new commemorative poster that celebrates the event’s 85th year.

“In celebration of The Oscars on February 24, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences unveiled today the newest addition to its show poster collection,” the Academy announced in a press release. “The commemorative poster was designed by English artist, graphic designer and illustrator Olly Moss in collaboration with Gallery1988.”
