Call me a media sucker, but I love a good event, and frankly, not many people throw an event as well as the folks at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment here in Canada. Last Thursday they threw an awards-themed celebration to promote their latest lineup of DVD and Blu-ray releases, and I can happily say I was pleasantly wined and dined by the end of the night.
Lost
Lost has been over almost three months now, and yet as a fan I can tell you I still randomly think of the show and wonder about some of the questions I still have.
So, how did it make you feel, Lost fans?
For me, it was emotionally moving and sustaining, but I realize it didn’t explain a lot of things—things which I might actually call minutia now.
This is a bad, bad week, my friends. If you know me at all, or if you’re a fan too, you’ll understand. After all, it’s the final week for the obsession that is Lost.
May has been a busy month, my friends. I realize I’ve been neglecting my blog, so I wanted to make some time and get back to posting again.
The good news is that there’s some good stuff going on as summer gets closer, including some interesting industry stuff.
Hey, Losties. Are you a fan of Dr. Pierre Chang? You know, the scientist from the 1970s who also happens to be Miles’ dad?
Over the last five years, fans have turned to Lost for an inventive, far out, and moving story that frequently defied explanation. However, with the sixth and final season of Lost set to debut this week, the end is drawing near for one of the most discussed and examined shows on television, and answers can’t be very far away.
Alright, Lost fans, another interesting video leading into the sixth and final season. Producer Damon Lindelof tweeted the link to this video today, and it’s well worth a watch.
Had to pass one photo on, for now, to the Lost fans. Michael Emerson, who of course plays Ben Linus in the show, was in attendence for his nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a television series. He posed on the carpet with actress Carrie Preston.
I have another potentially sad update for the Lost fans out there. Try not to get too upset just yet, but apparently President Barack Obama is planning another State of the Union address and one of the potential dates is… Thursday, February 2.
