Two hours with the new Samsung Galaxy S10+ is just about enough time to get a sense of the new smartphone, and then wish I had even more time to really test it out. First impression: it’s very impressive and opens up a lot of new options.
Samsung’s Galaxy S10 phones arrive in stores this Friday, March 8 in three flavours, and they’re packed with impressive features, including an Ultra-Wide camera, Super Steady video recording, HDR10+ capabilities, and an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor.
When the Huawei P20 Pro came out early in the year, the camera was like nothing else I’d tried before. The device features a ground-breaking and powerful trio of cameras that could capture very impressive photos, nearly as good as a DSLR. And then I got my hands on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro earlier this week, and even after hearing the buzz for the device, I was blown away by the phone.
Samsung’s phones have been some of my favorites for a long time, and the Note series stands out above all others because it’s not just versatile and easy to use, it’s also big and the S Pen is seriously useful on a daily basis. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the latest and greatest to date, and further develops one of my favorite things about the devices: the user experience.
The Google Pixel 3 is my first Pixel device, and I love it, especially because of how much it surprised me at every turn.
The BlackBerry Key2 is exactly what you expect, and does exactly what it needs to, and that’s exactly why I love it. If you’ve used a BlackBerry before, it’s a familiar update, and if you’re an Android user, the Key2 is easy to get used to, with the added benefit of having a dedicated keyboard.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 checks off a lot of boxes for my must-have features in a phone, and while the device is close to a year old, it’s still one of the most impressive phones out there right now, and the price is set to get even better.
