TIFF 08: Day four with… Kevin

Today has been pretty quiet, compared to the last few days of the festival. I got up early and caught the screening of Zack and Miri Make a Porno (hilarious, for the record) before catching Fifty Dead Men Walking (not bad, but not as good as it should have been).

I’m also debating red carpets tonight, but with the rain expected all day I’m aiming to pick a carpet that isn’t going to leave me or the camera soaked.

The big story for me today though is roundtable interviews with Kevin Smith and Elizabeth Banks for Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Aside from my one-on-one with Sam Neill the other day, this is my biggest interview at the festival this year and as a rabid fan of Smith’s work, I am actually a little nervous.

(For the record, I personally find it hilarious that the MPAA banned the Zack and Miri poster. Is America really supposed to be this uptight? If the country voted, would more than half really be offended by a little head?) (Too punny?)
