Survivor: Vanuatu – Islands of Fire, which is the ninth instalment of the reality series, debuts on Thursday, September 16th, and as always there are a number of beautiful ladies (a total of 9 this time around) competeing for all the bragging rights and a cool million in cold, hard American cash. Much like previous installments, this Survivor also pits the ladies (Yasur Tribe, in yellow) against the men (Lopevi Tribe, in red) to start.
We don’t know a lot about Suki, but the pieces of her story that we do know make for an interesting tale.
Canada has been known for a long time as a creative and comic hatchery for some of the top artists in Hollywood, but until now, most of our contributions to the world of animation has been limited to American productions, aside from “ReBoot” and “Kevin Spencer“, of course.
They’re a bit wicked, they fight the evil of the supernatural world, and yes, they’re witches. That’s the premise of Charmed, a Spelling Television production that features Alyssa Milano as Phoebe, Holly Marie Combs as Piper, and Rose McGowan as Paige, a trio of sisters who must keep their identity as “The Charmed Ones” secret from the world. The series is currently in its fifth season and often combines the sexy imagery of its slick gothic style with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer type action and drama.

After watching it though, I’m not sure I enjoyed the bad image that the show tried to pin on her.
This whole situation with Valery and Kalen leaving the loft has created quite a strange environment among fans, U8TV, and the people involved. I’m digging into some behind-the-scenes information, but a lot of what I know I can’t fill you in on for various reasons.
Although I can’t confirm this right now, I received feedback today from someone claiming that Valery and Kalen had quit the Loft. I’m digging around to see what I can find out, so for now this should be treated as a rumor and nothing more, but I can say that Kalen’s image has been removed from the Lofter’s page and replaced with the U8TV logo.
Jen & Tre were at HMV at 333 Yonge Street here in Toronto yesterday to interview anyone who wanted to be one of the next 8 Lofters. But, just to be different, they weren’t just there talking to people, they were there in their pajamas and in a bed near the magazines. I was there taking pictures so that you could see what was going on…
